There is a small troop of Francois' langurs at the Chattanooga Zoo. They are leaf-eating monkeys that often sit observing zoo visitors while munching leaves. Some are quite curious and will sit next to the observation window with only a pane of glass separating them from visitors, but this one prefers to keep its distance. I can respect that. I feel the same way sometimes. The way the sunlight reflected off its black fur while it seemed to be absorbed into its white "beard" was absolutely mesmerizing to me.
