This symbol is called “Metatron’s Cube.”  Within it can be found all the geometric shapes that exist.  It represents balance: between the curving shapes of female energy and the straight lines of masculine.  The Egyptian scarab, better known as the dung beetle, is also a symbol of balance.  It lays eggs in dung balls that it rolls around which ancient Egyptians likened to the cycle of life.
