Frequently Asked Questions

Are all of your paintings on this site?  Where else can I see your paintings?

Most of my paintings are available for sale on this website.  To see my work in person, you can make an appointment to visit me in my studio at ClearStory Arts in Chattanooga, TN (see contact info in the question below) or come to one of the many art festivals I participate in throughout the year.

A painting that's hanging in a gallery has a banner indicating which gallery it's in.  Those paintings are also available for sale, but the sale must go through the gallery directly.  The contact information is listed in the description.

Do you accept commissions or do pet portraits?

Yes, I do!  Please visit the Commissions & Pet Portraits page or call, text, or email me directly for more information:  978-225-0045   Lisa@LisaBohnwagner.com

What kinds of payment do you accept?

For sales on my website, I accept all major credit cards through Wix Payments or Paypal.

For commissioned paintings or pet portraits, I send an invoice through Paypal which gives you the option to pay using a credit or debit card, bank account, Paypal balance, or Paypal financing.

(You may also pay for paintings over time - just ask!)

I also accept payments via Venmo @lisabohnwagner or using this QR code:

Do you ship paintings?  What are the shipping costs?

Yes, I ship paintings (for free!) anywhere in the US.

Is your work insured?  Do you have a guarantee or return policy?

My work is insured for damage during shipping.  If your painting arrives damaged, please contact me immediately.

If you're not happy with a painting purchased through my website, you may return it in its original condition within 7 days of receipt for a full refund (purchase price less shipping). Return shipping is the responsibility of the buyer.

** For commissioned paintings and pet portraits I require a non-refundable downpayment of 50% of the purchase price before I begin.  You'll receive images of the painting when it's finished because I want to ensure you're 100% happy with the end result before I ship it.  I'm proud to say that many of my pet portrait clients have become repeat customers and friends!

Does my painting come with a frame?

Paintings available through my website include images and a description that indicates whether the painting is framed or has a painted "gallery-wrapped" edge.  I can remove a frame if you prefer to use your own and I can refer you to an excellent framer I've used for years to help you find the right one for your decor.
